How to Use: Orai

Each hour from 6 AM belongs to a planet. The hours marked ★ are subha orai, good for starting something new.

1. What to enter

  1. In the app, open More → Tools → Orai.
  2. Pick the date. The tool opens on today.
  3. Read the Day column (6 AM–6 PM) or the Night column (6 PM–6 AM).

2. Reading the result

The first hour belongs to the weekday’s planet; the rest follow in the order Sun, Venus, Mercury, Moon, Saturn, Jupiter, Mars. The ★ marks are copied from the printed calendar. On today, the running hour is highlighted.

4. Limits

The hours are fixed 60-minute steps from 6 AM, as in the printed calendar. In a few hours the print’s ★ differs from the textbook rule; the tool follows the print. In the app, Drik times move the whole table by your town’s sunrise.
